Fossella Presents Caez with Congressional Certificate of Recognition for Service to Fort Hamilton and the Nation
[Brooklyn, NY] – Congressman Vito Fossella (R-NY13) joined the men and women of the Fort Hamilton Army Garrison, community officials, residents, and veterans in honoring Sergeant Major Juan A. Caez at a Farewell Cookout last Friday.
Fossella presented Caez with a Congressional Certificate of Recognition for his service to Fort Hamilton and our nation. Caez has been at Fort Hamilton since 2003 and is retiring after 30 years in the Army.
Fossella said, “Sgt. Major Caez has been a strong presence at Fort Hamilton and in our community for almost 5 years. He has dedicated his life to serving our nation and protecting and defending our freedom and liberty. His service has made America safer and stronger over the course of 30 years. At Fort Hamilton, Sgt. Major Caez brought his years of experience to Brooklyn and quickly established himself as a leader who cared greatly about our troops as well as our community. I want to wish Sgt. Major Caez the best as he retires from the military and begins a new chapter in his life.”
