The McCain Mystery

We simply have no idea what to expect from McCain on a wide range of issues. It is entirely possible that on many issues, he would be no better than Obama. McCain does, of course, have tremendous upside potential, especially if he decides that his age makes him a one-term president. I strongly suspect that many of McCain's more galling positions have been politically motivated. A lame duck McCain would not have to worry about his finely honed "non-partisan, independent, moderate" image.

Personally, the only thing that I consider fairly certain is that McCain's appointments, both in staffing the executive branch and to the federal courts, would be much more conservative than BHO's. - TeamAmerica
